This is Call To Stage, the podcast from Amber Davies, where musical theatre takes centre stage. From unforgettable backstage stories to exclusive news and insights, each week musical theatre and Dancing On Ice star Amber is joined by stars of the stage (and sometimes just fans of it!) to chat, laugh… and maybe even sing.

If you were lucky enough to catch the recent London premiere of Shucked… then our guest on this episode of Call To Stage is for you!

Stevie Webb made his West End debut in the lead role in Oliver! at the London Palladium. Since then, he’s done everything from performing with Michael Jackson at the BRIT Awards to starring in The History Boys in the West End.

Most recently, Stevie starred in the West End production of The Book of Mormon, the UK Tour of Here You Come Again, Chatroom (a role Stevie took over from Andrew Garfield) and, of course, the recent Regents Park Open Air Theatre production of Shucked.

On this episode of Call To Stage, Amber and Stevie talk about the creative process behind bringing Shucked to London, Stevie’s West End debut in Oliver, pantomimes… and his wild BRIT Awards story!

There’s also stories from The History Boys, Midsummer Nights Dream at the Crucible, Book of Mormon and Stevie’s reflection on his training.
