Eve-Yasmine

Eve-Yasmine is tired of lazy, selfish men who don’t treat her like a human being.

Just from listening to her single “The Healer”, where she sings “I need a man with a clean slate, I need a clean break, I’m not your mistake”, it’s time for her to be treated right. And, whilst she’s trying to heal men who have wronged her, she’s winning the support of a legion of fans who completely relate.

The London-born, half Moroccan singer-songwriter is making a name for herself with her sultry R&B/Pop infused music in which occasionally her rapping skills also show up – most impressively, she raps in her music in multiple languages (English, French, Spanish and Arabic).

What Eve-Yasmine shares with many other upcoming artists, is a past which has involved doing long, hard jobs that she’s not fond of, to fund her music projects. What she perhaps doesn’t share so much with other artists, is that one of those jobs led her to Alicia Keys, who gave her vocal tips.

And whilst Eve-Yasmine might be rapping on-beat, she’s swimming against the flow – carving out her own corner of empowered, powerful music that truly represents her belief system. This level of authenticity is working for her: the artist has won support from the likes of BBC Radio, LinkUpTV and more.

Rojan Said sat down with Eve-Yasmine to talk about her single “The Healer”, meeting Alicia Keys, blowing up online with Michael Dapaah and more.

Broadcasted exclusively worldwide on W!ZARD Radio Station.
