South Africa born, German raised, and Toronto based: WizTheMC has an interesting story to share.

Having released three projects independently already (2018’s “Backin Toronto” and “Blessings In Disguise” as well as 2020’s “Growing Teeth”), it was his single “For A Minute” that caught the attention of the industry and the internet – with the single blowing up (it has over 20M global streams to-date) and leading to a record deal with 10K Projects (home to the likes of Trippie Redd, Internet Money and Iann Dior).

With a steady release of new music on the way, and an exciting 18 months behind him, WizTheMC is undoubtedly an artist to look out for in 2021.

He sat down with Myles McCaulskey to talk about his projects, choosing to make music in English and what’s coming up next.
