The past 12 months have been a blockbuster season for new music - there have been new records from Taylor Swift, Drake, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Eminem, Sam Smith and, most recently, Troye Sivan... to name a few.

But now it's time for the ultimate pop queen to release what will be a career defining album. Yes, we're talking about Ariana Grande and her brand new album 'Sweetener'.

The album came out whilst W!ZARD Radio Station took it's two week hiatus - but that didn't stop James Gilmore from taking out nearly 10 minutes from his Friday radio show to dissect the album and rave about just how he believes it's the best comprehensive set of pop music to be released in the past 12 months.

Ignore singles and sales numbers - James argues that when it comes to quality of tunes, the entire album that is 'Sweetener' prevails. Hear why in the clip below!
