Nigerian sensation Tomi Thomas may have broken through in 2009 as part of the successful Nigerian Collective Loud On Sound (LOS), but his solo efforts have raised his career to a new level.

His 2020 singles “Lagos (Everyday)” and “Hopeless Romantic” have garnered hundreds of thousands of streams collectively, and now he returns with the “Hopeless Romantic” EP – a collection of six songs built around the concept of love.

From singles such as “Again” to Buju Banton collaboration “Hurricane”, the EP is an emotional journey, seamlessly weaving through the ups and downs of heartache and heartbreak.

Tomi Thomas sat down with Myles McCaulskey to talk about the new EP, the connection between Bashment and Afrobeats and his plans for the rest of 2021.
