As it currently stands, W!ZARD Radio Station broadcasts 41 hours of original radio every week, and our company outputs 100+ hours every week across radio, on demand and podcasting. From light-hearted entertainment to challenging debates, we pride ourselves on our range of content.

But, one thing that can be stated as true, is that amongst such a varied roster it can be tricky to stand out. What are you doing that is different to everyone else? What are you adding to the conversation? These are the conversations we encourage our talent to ask themselves every time they pull up to the microphone.

But this is where Alec Feldman stood out.

For two hours every Saturday afternoon, he took that challenge and pushed the boat out. He showed up more than prepared… he over-stood the assignment and created a unique space on the radio where listeners could genuinely laugh and feel like they had a friend on the radio.

It’s rare that I would write an article like this when a presenter leaves, but it’s rare that one radio show, once a week, can make such an impact on not just our platform, but also on so many listeners.
