This is Truish, your weekly soft news bulletin where broadcaster Daisy Maskell unpack the weird and wonderful headlines, moments, and curiosities of the week with hilarious guests. New episodes every Monday.

From bridges to re-living past lives, this episode of Truish goes places that even we couldn’t predict. Daisy Maskell is joined by James Barr!

James is a comedian and broadcaster, best known for co-hosting the Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East & Will Best. His comedy show “Sorry I Hurt Your Son (Said My Ex To My Mum)” is one of the most talked-about shows out of Edinburgh Fringe 2025, and his new podcast “What If People Find Out?” has just freshly launched.

On this episode of Truish, Daisy and James talk about the theory that the world ended in 2012 (is our lived experience a mere projection of human consciousness?), doctors getting sued for saving people’s lives and the past life memories of children.

Along the way, they talk about their favourite bridges (of course), recall incidents of road rage, and ponder whether they have lived this life before…

Don't forget to subscribe and catch new episodes of Truish every Monday!
