We have partnered with NCS to present a series of conversations – called the Unstoppable Sessions – about the issues that matter most to you. Each month from March to July 2019, a different W!ZARD Radio Station presenter will tackle a new topic and invite you to get involved. Here is an extract from Benji Hyer’s live Unstoppable Session from March 2019…

As a young person, the opportunities to affect change and share your voice in an impactful way can be rare. Fortunately, there's NCS...

NCS offer a youth programme for all 15-17 year olds across England and Northern Ireland. Volunteering and activism play a big part in the experience and so far young people have completed a massive 12 million hours of volunteer work while on NCS!

On the programme you meet people from all different backgrounds and unite to make a difference in your community. Not only is it a chance to focus on a cause you're passionate about, but it's also an opportunity to make a bigger difference than you might be able to make alone.

On his Sunday radio show, Benji Hyer spoke to NCS graduate Vicky who has seen first-hand how volunteering can help others. On-air, Benji posed her the question: Does volunteering and activism make you feel like you are contributing to democracy?

Broadcasted exclusively worldwide on W!ZARD Radio Station.
