Birmingham is proving a fertile ground for rising rappers – and it may have just delivered its latest superstar.

Young rapper Kavo is on course to become one of the UK’s biggest rappers in the next couple of years. With the release of “F**K GCSEs”, Kavo gained a lot of attention from music blogs and the like, with many tipping him as a One To Watch for 2022.

Kicking off the year with a bang, he has enlisted UK rap legend RA to feature on his latest offering, “Airforce One” which has already gained over 100,000 plays on Mixtape Madness and approaching 50,000 streams.

Kavo sat down with Myles McCaulskey to talk about his come-up, the misconceptions of him and being recognised as Rwanda’s first-known British rapper.
